By being a true Muslim, a person is liberated from worshiping and being enslaved by things, systems, and man-made ways of life, becoming a devoted servant of Allah alone. They worship Allah alone, with no deity besides Him, love Him alone, and place their hope and trust solely in Him.
By accepting Islam and adhering to it, a person realizes that they are fulfilling the purpose of their creation. Allah created us for a specific purpose, and through commitment to Islam, we achieve this purpose: to worship Allah alone without any partner.
The believer's soul is freed from the control of others the moment they realize that Allah is the Owner of everything, and that no human being, regardless of their power or status, can prevent what Allah has decreed or grant what Allah has withheld. Thus, the believer hastens to achieve servitude to Allah by seeking His pleasure, without concern for the approval of others.
The believer's soul is also liberated from fear, except for the fear of Allah alone. Fearing others besides Allah causes misery and disrupts the peace of life, as Satan makes a person fear everything, leading them to live in anxiety and unrest.
Islam instills courage and determination, as one who believes in Allah, knowing that He alone gives life and death and that all decisions are in His hands, finds peace and tranquility.
