Where can direct quotes be found to prove the use of evolution to fuel the spread of Atheism?

Evolution being the tool for the advancement of atheism can be found in innumerable quotes. From them:
the Evolutionist Julian Huxley’s statement, in Essays of a Humanist: “In the evolutionary pattern of thought there is no longer either need or room for the supernatural. The earth was not created: it evolved. So did all the animals and plants that inhabit it, including our human selves, mind and soul as well as brain and body. So did religion. All aspects of reality are subject to evolution, from atoms and stars to fish and flowers . . . to human societies and values indeed . . . All reality is a single process of evolution.”(1)

In the article Darwin's Influence on Modern Thought,  Ernst Mayer, one of the founders of Neo-Darwinism, stated: “Darwinism rejects all supernatural phenomena and causations. The theory of evolution by natural selection explains the adaptedness and diversity of the world solely materialistically. It no longer requires God as creator or designer (although one is certainly still free to believe in God even if one accepts evolution).

Further, Ernst Mayer stated: “When Hull claimed that ‘the Darwinians did not totally agree with each other, even over essentials,’ he overlooked one essential on which all these Darwinians agreed. Nothing was more essential for them than to decide whether evolution is a natural phenomenon or something controlled by God. The conviction that the diversity of the natural world was the result of natural processes and not the work of God was the idea that brought all the so-called Darwinians together in spite of their disagreements on other of Darwin’s theories.” (2)

Lastly, one of the most concise, yet powerful statements in this regard was Provine’s statement on Darwin’s Day when he said: “Evolution is the greatest engine of atheism ever invented.”(3)
